Arrived back in Thailand after quite a day,took a plane instead of the train to gain a day and only to find the hotel had messed up our booking made over the internet,tried to charge an exhorbitant price but "queenie" sorted them out! It is again very warm but the humidity level is more acceptable. There is quite a long bus ride from Krabi airport in a coach which would not be allowed to operate in the U.K. it had air conditioning, my window was broken!and some tacky curtains to keep out the sun,what a heap,Im suprised it made it all.All the bags were thrown in a pile behind the driver! luckily he did not have to brake hard.
This evening we went out to eat and met our first russians from siberia,the woman did charades and illustrated they had a metre of snow.Serves them right,they can keep it,it seems they are getting all over in Thailand.There was a fantastic sunset tonight at 1800,i am going to try a photograph it tomorrow evening,Ill post it if I can manage it.
I have to say I have found an airport terminal worse than Heathrow terminal 3,and I did not think it was possible,it is KL international,it is rubbish and very poorly organised,and that is an understatement.
Air Asia is very good with nice aircraft airbus 320s,new and shiny.
