LAST FULL DAY IN KUALA LUMPUR.

The day started with a really demanding couple of hours by the swimming pool on the roof,we had to force ourselves up there before the usual afternoon rain arrives, again it is hot and humid,oh, the hardship!
After lunch "Queenie" decided we would pay homage to the better end" shops in central K.L.,one of the attractions for me is that they are cool in both senses of the word.We had not realised it but today is the start of the Hindu festival of light "Divali"which lasts for five days of bright clothes, noise,(music) and celebrations. I didnt really understand too much but they seemed to be having a good time. The Muslims and the local size fours all seemeed to be joining in,which was nice to see in this day and age.
We have mastered the local bus services, which  is a bit of an achievement as the signs are impossible for us to read, getting off the bus is the challenge, the trick is to miss the cars! We returned to the magnificent "Petronas", building for the last time,it did not rain and it shone brightly in its stainless steel cladding.
Tomorrow we head back to south Thailand,"Ao Nang" to be precise.Tonight will be taken up with sorting out and packing,a quiet night, cleaning, washing, paperwork, and planning the next bit
I have learned the curry  grades, mild, medium, hot, and "Usain Bolt".
 To be continued......
